Several local events on tap for National Drive Electric Week
Governments, universities and other entities across Northern Colorado and the Boulder Valley will hold events next week to increase public awareness of electric vehicles and their role in conserving energy and reducing air pollution.
The events are part of the fourth annual National Drive Electric Week, observed Sept. 12-20 this year.
According to Drive Electric Northern Colorado, the area’s advocacy of electric vehicles has placed it at nearly double the national average for EV adoption. DENC and the Boulder-based Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP) are promoting the events.
