In Colorado, 1 in 3 women, 1 in 3 men and 1 in 2 transgender individuals will experience an attempted or completed sexual assault in their lifetime. During April, we recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the hopes of increasing conversations about this very important issue.

Hudson, a former PepsiCo executive, joined the NFL in 2014 and is responsible for building the fan base and growing the NFL brand. She is in charge of strategy, advertising, promotions, entertainment and cause-related activities, as well as planning and execution of all NFL events, including the Super Bowl and player draft.

“We are thrilled to have Dawn be this year’s keynote,” Julie Imig, chairwoman of the 2016 WILD Summit event, said in a prepared statement. “Dawn’s story of how she became a female leader in the NFL is inspiring. Part of the magic of the WILD speakers is that they are extremely generous in sharing personal stories about how their careers and lives have evolved. This year will deliver that same magic.”
