Jorgenson replacing Bollich as CEO of Boulder’s Surna
BOULDER — Bryon Jorgenson is replacing Tom Bollich as chief executive of Boulder-based Surna Inc., an engineering, manufacturing and installation company specializing in commercial indoor cannabis cultivation systems.
Bollich, a current director and CEO, will be stepping down April 15. Bollich led the company from a startup in April 2014 to a manufacturing company with more than 30 employees.
“The timing is right to transition into new leadership, and I’m confident the current team will continue to evolve Surna into the unquestioned leader in the cannabis industry. I’m excited about Surna’s future,” Bollich said in a statement.

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.
Jorgenson, who joined Surna in January as chief operating officer, has more than 25 years of experience at the executive-level and as an engineer in industrial electronics, life sciences and industrial automation systems.
Surna’s main revenue stream comes from manufacturing water-chilled climate control systems for the marijuana industry.
