Technology and Management Solutions helps school

BOULDER – Technology and Management Solutions LLC, a Boulder-based management consulting firm, helped Boulder Community School of Integrated Studies, a public K-5 elementary school in the Boulder Valley School District, to plan, design, develop and analyze a customized student climate survey for the 2005-2006 year.

Theresa Szczurek, chief executive of Technology and Management Solutions, and Ida Halasz, executive consultant, helped design a data-collection instrument that uses a four-point scale so that students could more clearly indicate their opinions agreeing or disagreeing with a statement.

They also developed specific questions to address the environment at the school campus. The fall 2005 version of the survey included an opportunity for students to provide open-ended inputs.
