CSU Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge to open registration Dec. 1
FORT COLLINS – The Colorado State University/Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge announced Tuesday that it will open registration for the 2015 event on Dec. 1.
The business pitch competition, which awards a $250,000 grand prize, is open to collegiate entrepreneurs in the state of Colorado, startups and other businesses seeking expansion capital.
The second annual event will be held May 26-30 during Fort Collins Startup Week, and includes two tracks.

WomenGive, a program of United Way of Larimer County, was started in Larimer County in 2006 as an opportunity for women in our community to come together to help other women.
The Enterprise Track, with the $250,000 grand prize, is open to U.S.-based startups and established companies in any industry that either have revenue of $100,000 in the past 12 months or have raised at least $100,000 in capital. The Collegiate Track, with a $20,000 prize, is open to entrepreneurs enrolled at any accredited university or college in Colorado or those who have graduated in the past 12 months.
Last month, the competition announced that it would introduce a single-elimination bracket format this year.
Registration materials can be found online at www.blueoceanchallenge.com. The deadline is Jan. 16.
